The two of them have lived through everything together, including at least a hundred different world-ending apocalypses, knowing full well that their scrappy childhood was only survivable because they had one another to rely on. Hadriel brought them some much needed time to fall back into sync with one another after their forced years apart, with each horrific event experienced just bringing them closer and closer together. As long as they are together, they can make it through anything.

lucretia. the adventure zone | madamdirector »» relationship: family Lup's dearest friend of over a hundred years. Stuck on a ship full of men, it was only natural that the only two women onboard the Starblaster would become quick friends, seeking each other out for gossip, a safe place to vent, and for laughs. Lucretia easily became one of Lup's best friends during this time, a friendship that has only continued to blossom and thrive since then, even with all of their history behind them. No matter how her brother may feel about the woman, Lup still loves and forgives Lucretia completely for what happened, and though they have fought about it on occasion, at the end of the day, Lup will always welcome Lucretia back with open arms.

angus. the adventure zone | hellosirs »» relationship: nephew Angus may be the newest member of the family, the honorary eighth member of their little crew, but he's already carved out a chunk of space in Lup's heart. Considering how rarely her respect is given, it should be noted that Lup truly respects Angus, doesn't just like him cause he's a cute kid, but sees him on her own level, his own person with a brilliant mind of his own. Still, she's trying her best to make sure he gets the chance to live out a few real childhood experiences, ones that her and her brother never had the chance to have.

kravitz. the adventure zone | scytheseeing »» relationship: coworker/brother-in-law Her brother's ridiculous and very dead boyfriend, Kravitz has a surprisingly big heart for being the grim reaper. He's accepted Taako and his family with as much grace as can be expected, and has even managed to worm his way into Lup's heart. Just slightly. Now they work together as a team for the Raven Queen and that goes about as well as you'd expect.

barry. the adventure zone | barold »» relationship: husband Her husband. Her best friend. Her collaborator in all things. Barry is the love of her life and beyond. After nearly a full century together, the man knows her better than anyone. Straight from their very first encounter, Lup honed in on Barry as someone she could effortlessly tease and bully, but it didn't take long for the flimsy professional boundaries between them to drop away, leaving the two to discover how deep their feelings went. They've been together now for over sixty years, bound together through their first and second lives. Losing him while in Hadriel was one of the hardest things Lup's ever had to face, but now she's just that much more determined to get back to him. There's a whole future waiting for them there.

magnus. the adventure zone | armcollector »» relationship: family The baby brother of the family. Magnus was the first one on the ship for Lup to really make a connection with. His infectious optimism and general recklessness are traits that the woman herself shares, so the two of them play well off of each other's high energy, leading to many heroic rescues and just as many needless deaths together. He's a dear friend, one of the few Lup would trust to fight at her side.

merle. the adventure zone | weedbgon »» relationship: family Despite how aloof he seems and how awful he is at keeping his party alive, it didn't take long for Lup to warm up to the dwarf over the course of their one hundred year mission, his inability to ever take anything seriously both a blessing and an irritation depending on the situation. While in Hadriel, Merle worked wonders at keeping Lup grounded when her very nature told her to act instead of waiting around, his oftentimes pointless distractions something that Lup came to rely on when the gods were trying to play with their emotions. And though she wouldn't say it aloud, her love for the dwarf only increased when he refused to come down hard on Lucretia while she was here. Lup will always remember this.

drake holloway. izombie | braveoff »» relationship: best friend Drake was one of Lup's closest friends in Hadriel, the steady voice of reason in all of their lives, guiding Lup with a gentle hand instead of scolding for her outbursts. Drake easily had the warmest heart that Lup's ever known, which makes his status as a zombie all the more heartbreaking, especially considering how peaceful he always operated, guiding Lup and Ephemera towards the non-violent resolution, even if it was so against their very natures. Even when the world seemed against him, he was always thoughtful and considerate, running into burning buildings to save strangers and choosing to be locked up before he can hurt others. There's a part of Lup that wishes she could be more like him, selfless and kind, willing to sacrifice more for the sake of those she loves, but she's just not as good as he is. He was one of the few people in Hadriel outside of her family that could actually get her talking, even if it took some time, but his patience usually paid off.

nathan drake. uncharted | nonscriptum »» relationship: friend Nate was one of Lup's first friends within Hadriel, a relationship that lasted the full of her two year stay in that space. Though she liked the man enough on her own, the false memories that Hadriel implanted in their head's during their fake Pleasant Valley life only had that fondness for him grow. He's a part of the crew now, whether he wanted to be or not, someone that Lup would easily trust with her back in a fight. She hopes that wherever he is now, he's with his wife, Elena.

elena fisher. uncharted | storyseeker »» relationship: best friend Elena was one of Lup's first and easily her closest female friend in Hadriel, the one she turned to when the situation just needed a woman's delicate touch. It says a lot that Lup managed to open up to Elena at all in the short time they'd known one another, a true test of how much she trusted this woman. Hadriel threw the two quite a few curveballs during their time there, but for each new trouble that popped up, the two women were utterly unshakable in their dedication to one another. When Elena needed a place to crash during her and Nate’s brief separation, Lup was there to whisk her away with open arms and as much booze as possible, opening up with her advice in a show of true vulnerability that she so rarely let anyone see. But she trusted Elena of all people to not drag her for her emotions, which is more than Lup can say for most folks.

alphys. undertale | sciencelizard »» relationship: friend Alphys will always be Lup's favorite kind of nerd. Though their relationship started with the elf aiming only to tease and flirt with the other woman till she was red in the face, things shifted quickly after some shared experiences delving into their backgrounds, where they both were able to see the other more clearly. Lup can all too relate to the guilt that Alphys can’t ever seem to shake off, the same kind of guilt that Lup herself feels weighed down by at times. The kind of scars they’ve left on the world don’t ever go away, no matter how hard they try to avert their eyes, but Lup knows they both can continue to live on.

ellie. the last of us | survivorsguilt »» relationship: friend A young, scrappy girl that Lup always saw her younger self in, Ellie immediately wiggled her way into Lup’s heart without even meaning to. Within a handful of months, the two experienced so much together: the Null invasion, Ellie's unfair murder, Magnus' sudden disappearance and then his immediate return without his Hadriel memories. Lup never meant to take the position she had in Ellie's life, something almost familial, but it just developed over the time they spent together.

gren. wolf among us | murderpotato »» relationship: friend What started as outright trolling managed to become one of the more unexpected friendships in Lup's life. Gren was always more than he seemed. On the outside, he looked scruffy, unapproachable, someone Lup wouldn't ever be caught hanging with, but after saving her life by sacrificing his own, something changed. With Hope's powers faint after the Null attack, Gren was brought back temporarily deaf, and sometime between the topics of vore and whether loving races with shorter lifespans was worth the inevitable pain, they developed a surprisingly deep relationship When Rage's influence turned her husband violently possessive, it was Gren that Lup sought out without hesitation, trusting he'd keep her safe.

ephemera. red vs blue | requiemshark »» relationship: friend Who knew that a man like Ephemera would end up being one of Lup's favorite people in Hadriel? Their friendship started off with small favors back and forth, paints and cookies and lighting people up, but they quickly dropped the pretense of needing anything to just hang. Since experiencing the dream of his sister, Lup became much more protective of the man, the image of Chica dying in his arms a nightmare that she could never forget. Despite how much they don't say around one another, they seemed to understand each other perfectly.
