TAAKO pocketspa Her twin brother and her heart, Taako is the closest feeling to home that Lup's ever known. The two of them have lived through it all together, knowing full well that their scrappy childhood was only survivable because they had one another to rely on. Hadriel's brought them some trouble, mostly in the form of Taako coming from 60 years in Lup's future where his memories of her had been completely erased, but the two are working towards falling into step again. Now that Lup's returned to Hadriel and has confirmed that she's still alive in his present, Lup's witnessed Taako's great relief and the happiness that seems to come so much easier for him now. BARRY BLUEJEANS barold One of the six who Matter, Barry was C.S.O. on (what was supposed to be) a two-month expedition mission for the IPRE. Straight from their very first encounter, Lup honed in on Barry as someone she could effortlessly tease and bully. But it didn't take long for the flimsy professional boundaries between them to drop away, leaving the two to discover how deep their feelings went. They've been together for over sixty years now, bound together through their first and second lives, and now that Lup has him back with her in Hadriel, she's never letting him go. For all of the difficulty and unease from her reunion with Taako, everything with Barry seems to come so much easier. There may be more tears, but there's no doubt left in Lup's heart that they'll be just fine. (art credit)

MAGNUS BURNSIDES armcollector One of the six who Matter, Magnus was Head of Security on (what was supposed to be) a two-month expedition mission for the IPRE. But now with a century's worth of memories with the man, Magnus has become family and one of Lup's closest friends. His infectious optimism and general recklessness are traits that Lup herself shares, so the two of them play well off of each other's high energy, leading to many heroic rescues and just as many needless deaths together. Now that Magnus remembers her, Lup feels like everything between them is back in place. And much to her brother's annoyance, she's definitely taken a liking to Magnus' pet varren, Peanut. MERLE HIGHCHURCH weedbgon One of the six who Matter, Merle was the Resident Medic and Biologist on (what was supposed to be) a two-month expedition mission for the IPRE. Despite how aloof he seems and how awful he is at keeping his party alive, it didn't take long for Lup to warm up to the dwarf over the course of their one hundred year mission, his inability to ever take anything seriously both a blessing and an irritation depending on the situation. In Hadriel, Merle's done wonders at keeping Lup grounded when her very nature tells her to act instead of waiting around, his oftentimes pointless distractions something that Lup's come to rely on when the gods are trying to play with their emotions. And though she wouldn't say it aloud, her love for the dwarf only increased when he refused to come down hard on Lucretia while she was here. Lup will remember this. (art credit)

LUCRETIA GONE One of the six who Matter, Lucretia was the Chronicler on (what was supposed to be) a two-month expedition mission for the IPRE. Over the course of the century they worked together, she quickly became Lup's best friend onboard the Starblaster. She left Hadriel. (art credit)

KRAVITZ knockthemdead Her brother's ridiculous and very dead boyfriend, Kravitz has a surprisingly big heart for being the grim reaper. He's accepted Taako and his family with as much grace as can be expected, and has managed to worm his way into Lup's heart. Just slightly. (art credit)

ANGUS MCDONALD hellosirs Angus is the newest member of their dysfunctional family, someone that Lup hasn't had much experience with outside of the Umbra Staff, but she's already decided that he's an honorary member of their crew. In Hadriel, Lup's goal is to get Angus actually acting like a kid, an experience that neither Taako nor herself really got to have. So far, this attempt has involved paintball guns, drawing on his face, and some shared baking tips. This also means that she will beat up literal children to keep him safe.

NATHAN DRAKE nonscriptum Nate was one of Lup's first friends within the cave and it's a true mark of how close they are that she continues to torment him endlessly to this day. Though she liked the man enough on her own, the false memories that Hadriel implanted in their head's during their fake Pleasant Valley life, only had that fondness for him grow. He's a part of the crew now, whether he wants to be or not, someone that Lup would easily trust with her back in a fight.

ELENA FISHER storyseeker Elena is Lup's closest female friend in Hadriel, the one she turns to when the situation just needs a woman's delicate touch, something none of the men in her life have much skill in. It says a lot that Lup's managed to open up a little to Elena at all in the short time they've known one another, a true test of how much she trusts this woman.

ALPHYS sciencelizard Alphys is a puzzle. Lup can't really explain what continues to draw her to the other woman who just seems to be a mess of emotions and awkward pauses, but somehow along their numerous interactions, the elf's taken it upon herself to get Alphys out of her home and more involved with the world around her. After experiencing the other woman's memories through her dreams, Lup has a slightly deeper understanding of her friend. They are far more alike than she'd ever have guessed. (art credit)

MALKUS IVERWELLING doctoral bird A puzzle of a different sort. If asked how she felt about Malkus, Lup would probably give a very noncommittal shrug of her shoulders and say 'meh'. They aren't friends by any means, even if he seems to think they are, but there's no doubt that Lup would come to his defense if he was ever in danger. (Not because she likes you or anything!!!)

ELLIE survivorsguilt A young, scrappy girl that Lup can easily see herself in, Ellie's one of the few humans in Hadriel that Lup would trust to have her back in a fight. (The girl is surprisingly good in combat!) Lup hasn't had a chance to learn too much about her background, but she'd like to.

EPHEMERA requiemshark Who knew that Ephemera would end up being one of Lup's favorite people in Hadriel? The man's a little rough around the edges and was hella standoffish for their first meeting, but now that he's adjusted to Hadriel, Lup finds him laughing more and the pair get along remarkably well. Which may have something to do with their shared love of setting things on fire. Their friendship started off with small favors back and forth, paints and cookies and lighting people up, but now they've dropped the pretense of needing anything to just hang. Since experiencing the dream of his sister, Lup's become much more protective of the man, the image of Chica dying in his arms a nightmare that she could never imagine. Despite how much they don't say around one another, they seem to understand each other perfectly. He's her go to guy in Hadriel.

KYNA warded A half-elf in a sea of humans, Kyna's snarkiness and sharp wit are what keep drawing Lup straight to her. She's fun to hang out with, one of the few people here who indulges Lup in talking shit about their friends, and Lup imagines that in a fight they'd be a real force to be reckoned with. Two evocation wizards against the world? No one would stand a chance. The more they speak, the closer and more protective of the other woman she becomes. After the incident with Ephemera, Lup's keeping a closer eye on Kyna. She knows the girl can take care of herself, but Lup knows a little something about having a big mouth and getting into trouble because of it.

DRAKE HOLLOWAY braveoff Drake is one of Lup's closest friends, but the one that definitely tries to be the voice of reason in all of their lives. She's only recently found out he was a zombie and all of the messiness that comes with it, but being dead doesn't change her opinion of him. Lately, she's been in on the back-and-forth between him and Ephemera. She ships it.

KATE GALLOWAY dedikated Kate manages to get along with Lup despite being a little more reserved a person than the elf, but Lup just sees that a challenge. Getting Kate to dance with her or to laugh or just to react in general is something she'll continue to work on. And honestly, after the fun she had with Kate and Cecily at the party, Lup wouldn't mind dragging the other two women out with her again for fun.

ATEM puzzingly Atem started off as an annoyance and now is a surprisingly good friend. He's experience more of what Lup has than a lot of people in Hadriel (dying and imprisonment to name a few), but his upbeat attitude rarely wavers and that is something Lup can get behind. He's a good kid for not actually being a kid, and he is something that Lup would go all out to keep safe.
