I guess they don't have tabletop in whatever fantasy world you're from. DD&MD is a game I used to play. Dungeons Dungeons and More Dungeons. You make up characters and then send them on adventures. And you can make an elf if you want but I usually didn't.

Not that I don't like elves but it's hard to get into the headspace of a graceful and beauteous child of the forest [And Ford better be proud of him for remembering what the fucking core book says] when you've got a nose like I do. Always found it way easier to go with the race that'd whomp you with a frying pan and then cook you lunch by way of apology. That's more my style.

I didn't mean any offense. It's sort of like writing a story except you do it with a couple of other people all together round-robin. Sometimes folks make characters that aren't the same race as them. It's for fun, that's all. And where I'm from all the magic and elves and dragons and all, they don't really exist.

Alright actually amend that, they -might-, but most folks don't know about it if they do. You can't go on that kind of adventure in real life where I'm from.
