Not that she needs to know the details, but...much as she'd love to just accept the idea of a girls' weekend and run with it, she can't just keep pretending like everything's okay. Like Taako's completely fine with Lup running over to visit every day, like there isn't a giant ice wall between them, no less present for the fact that it's invisible. ]
[It doesn't matter how long it's been, Lup can read between Lucretia's lines clear as day. She knows the hurt there, brought on by years of cutting herself off from the people she's loved most, and the forgiveness that Taako continues to deny her.

Make herself as small a presence as possible in his life. Lup's decisions are her own, and Lucretia's endlessly grateful for her company and her support, but that doesn't mean she's not hyperaware of the fact that every minute Lup spends with her is a minute she's not with her brother.
She just doesn't want to hurt him any more than she already has.
It's a good thing this isn't video. Lucretia wipes away her silent tears, but not before one of them splashes onto the screen, blurring the words best friend. There's only one thing she can say, and it's something she hasn't said in far, far too long. ]
